I'm reading the book and I like it so far. I think it's witty, charming and a mystery is beginning to unfold so I like that, too.
How about you?

I chose this book because it's on my "to-read" list. I haven't read it before, but I've heard it was good. I really like it so far - a good, satisfying mystery. This is one of those classics - it's on all the "100 best books to read" lists.
I liked it too. I have also read the Moonstone by Wilkie Collins, and he certainly does keep the reader guessing throughout his books. Sometimes they move so slow it is painful, but it does give you more time to speculate. (It provides a nice antidote to writers like Dan Brown etc. who may move too quickly.) Most interesting for our discussion may be exploring the light he sheds on social conditions in England at the time. Reading it these days, it really puts the reader in a different world.
I like having our meetings on Wed. night! I missed not seeing everyone last month.
